In this level, your only target is a 25-hit fire tile, located on the middle-right side of the board. But don’t let that simplicity fool you; the fire tile is deeply embedded in a puzzle-like structure of orange, blue, purple, and green blocks. Most lanes are arrow-locked, and there’s very little open space for long slides.
With a timer of 2:50, the level gives you time, but you’ll need to use it wisely to open access and focus damage on the fire tile.
Step 1: Start from the Bottom-Left
Slide the green and red blocks at the bottom-left corner horizontally to open space.
Free the purple L-block on the lower-right by moving the orange bar away—this opens the vertical slide lane near the fire tile.
Step 2: Open Central Movement
Clear the orange and blue blocks sitting between the purple and green columns in the center.
This creates the necessary vertical space so you can rotate in color-matching blocks from below to target the fire tile.
Step 3: Chip Away at the Fire Tile
Begin hitting the fire “25” tile using vertical purple and green blocks. Drop them in from the middle lane or slide up from the lower half.
The fire tile is protected on both sides—aim to first clear the orange and blue blocks hugging its left and right, so you can deal multiple hits in succession.
Step 4: Use the Upper-Right as a Slide Buffer
As the right-side opens up, use the blue and green blocks near the top-right to slide downward and deliver more hits to the fire tile.
This area also acts as a “buffer” where you can line up vertical hits before sending them into the flame tile.
Step 5: Keep One Lane Clear
Never let both vertical lanes on either side of the fire tile get blocked. Always preserve one pathway for slide-ins.
If needed, recycle blocks from the bottom up or slide horizontally to reposition.
Step 6: Final Damage Phase
Once the fire tile is under 10 hits, shift all your focus to cycling in color blocks vertically (especially purple, orange, or green).
Avoid side clearing now every remaining move should be a strike.
Bonus Move Tip:
Slide the short green vertical block directly above the fire tile for early and repeat hits. It's aligned to do immediate damage if you open space above.
The fire tile is positioned awkwardly, making it hard to hit more than once per slide.
Tight layout with arrow tiles means poor planning can block your own path.
Players may over-clear without purpose, wasting time and missing windows to strike.
Color Block Jam Level 402 looks simple but demands precision. It's all about carving a path to the fire tile and managing movement space without clogging key slides. Plan smart, hit directly, and you’ll extinguish it with time left on the clock.
