Level 291 in Color Block Jam is a classic "clear it all" challenge. With four frozen number tiles, wood barriers, and a vertical maze of star blocks, this level pushes your block-sliding skills in every direction. You’ll need to plan carefully to open paths without blocking yourself in.
The grid is divided into four main target areas, each featuring a frozen tile:
The center of the board includes vertical columns of orange, blue, and purple blocks; these must be cleared strategically to create lanes into all four corners. Directional arrows line the outer edges, constraining your block movement outward.
Step 1: Break the Star Zones First
Begin on the left and right borders, clearing the red star tiles and purple star-lined blocks. These restrict movement and will trap your key attack blocks if left too long.
Step 2: Tackle the Center Columns
Next, start working on the middle orange and blue vertical blocks. This opens vertical lanes to drop attack blocks into the corner zones.
Step 3: Work the Wooden Barriers
Use vertical blue and orange blocks to strike and remove the wooden blocks in front of the “8” and “15” tiles. Clear just enough space to access them—don’t waste time on full clearing.
Step 4: Strike the Frozen Tiles
Once you’ve exposed the targets:
Use horizontal slides to hit “5” and “10” from the left/right.
Drop in vertical matches on “15” and “8” from the center after wood is broken.
Level 291 throws multiple obstacles at once wood, stars, and ice each needing a different approach. Star blocks clear easily, but wood requires multiple hits, and ice needs precise positioning. Navigating all three at once is what makes this level tricky.
Arrow tiles around the edges limit your movement and make it easy to trap long blocks, especially near the corners. One wrong slide can block your key attackers.
To avoid this, leave space in the center to recycle blocks vertically and focus on clearing just enough to open paths to each frozen tile. Every move should either break a barrier or set up the next hit.
