Grid Size: 7x7 layout
Special Features:
Objective:
Clear the center and open enough space to build long combos within 1 minute 35 seconds. There’s no merge goal or target block—this is a classic survival/clearing level, likely focusing on maintaining movement and avoiding getting stuck.
Step 1: Clear the Bottom-Center First
The 3x3 hollow square near the bottom is your most valuable space.
Start by matching blocks just above or beside that empty zone to drop new pieces into it.
Prioritize green, purple, and blue blocks that are clustered in this area—they’re already close to matchable patterns.
Step 2: Build Horizontal Matches
Look for horizontal lines near the center and sides. These are more efficient at triggering cascading clears than vertical ones in this layout.
Use the purple and teal blocks on the right side to quickly align a 3+ match.
Step 3: Use Side Arrows Wisely
As you clear blocks, new ones will enter from the directional arrows—especially from the left and right sides.
Make sure to clear toward arrows to bring in useful block colors like orange and blue which are seen in key positions.
Step 4: Avoid Blocking the Center
Be careful not to place mismatched or non-combo-friendly blocks in the open center area.
If you can't make an immediate match, move the block to the far edges or near an arrow to increase chances of it being useful later.
Step 5: Chain Combos When Possible
Use the cleared center to drop multiple block colors together.
For example: if you free up space below red and orange, you can combine them in a single move to trigger chain reactions and buy more time.
Color Block Jam Level 146 is all about space management and efficiency. Focus on clearing the center zone early, create horizontal matches around the middle, and use the side arrows to refresh your opportunities. Time is limited, so play fast but keep your eyes on the chain reactions!
